What is The Voices Podcast Studio Residency?

The Voices Podcast Studio Residency is a creative programme supporting grassroots podcasters and independent creators. We’ve successfully run two rounds of this residency so far and we’re now looking forward to onboarding some new creatives.

As a resident, you’ll get:

• Access to a professional podcast recording studio
• Opportunities to broadcast your podcast on Voices radio
• Social media promotion
• Technical training and resources
• Access to a community of creators

• To give you full creative flexibility, you’re no longer required to submit one podcast per month for radio broadcast – this part is totally optional
• Flexible subscription model -
Cancel your residency anytime.
• More tailored pricing tiers
- Choose a plan that fits your needs.
• Evening and weekend bookings times

Podcast Residency Pricing

We’ve introduced three pricing tiers so you can choose the option that works best for your workflow:

£40/month – 1 hour of recording time

£50/month – 2 hours of recording time

£60/month – 3 hours of recording time

All tiers still include full access to all the residencies benefits.

What are the residency benefits?

Access to professional recording equipment

At the studio we have:

• High-quality multitrack audio recording
• 4K video recording capabilities
• A user-friendly setup (no technical experience required)

Podcast Promotion Opportunities

• Social media promotion via Voices Studio channels including collaboration on short-form content (clips & reels)
• Optional radio broadcast exposure

Training & Podcast Resources

• In-person studio induction session to get you comfortable with the equipment before you record independently
• Access to guides, tutorials, and best practices

Optional Add-On Support

Still feel like you need extra help during recording? Or just want to focus on the conversation?

• Book an engineer for technical support
• £30/hour for hands-on assistance throughout your recording

Community & Networking

• Meet other podcasters at in-person events and socials
• Collaborate with like-minded creatives
• Access partner discounts (events, festivals, tools)

Broadcasting on the Radio (optional)

We’re still giving you the option to broadcast your podcast on the airwaves if you’d like to but it no longer has to be a commitment! If you do want to broadcast here’s what you need to know:

• The radio supports Audio-only format
• We have a 1-hour episode requirement
• You must Submit content 48 hours before your allocated slot
• We will promote your episode via the voices radio Instagram account

Please note for this round of the residency you will be able to book studio time during evenings and weekends only
